| Letter from the Read the Scriptures Founder: FREE FOR A YEAR Dear members and followers. As you know we are making changes at Read the Scriptures and our goal truly is to create a win-win for both you and us, and more importantly to spread the gospel. For the past 8 years I have been a one man team building RtS and have loved every minute of it. Yet I knew more could be done. I pioneered reading schedules, scripture syncing and so much more. I have hundreds of other ideas, but I can't do it on my own. I have had investors offer to come in and help, but they want to change everything and make it all about the money. I don't want that. So after pondering and searching, I found two other amazing spirits that have seen my vision and want to team up and help. That is right, we are a team of three and are ready to take on this project and take it to a whole new level. We have our mission, we know what we want to do and will accomplish it with your help. I am sure many of you understand that in order to produce a project that is more than just a 'hobby', revenue has to be generated. App sales alone do not even come close to what it takes to create that revenue or to maintain the program. Having a monthly income, much like we do with personal budgets, gives us the ability to do more and more for the website, app and future apps. We are not looking at stopping just with the features we have now or ideas we have today. We want to continue to improve and build upon the app and give it to all platforms to be obtainable by ALL. I have read every email, every tweet, every Facebook message, and I see that many of you are extremely supportive and excited about this. Though some of you are disappointed, those of you that have been professional in your disappointment got us thinking: "How can we make this work even better as a win-win for our existing members?" Here is what we have come up with. For those of you that have purchased our app, (we do have a list and know who you are) we will give you one year of our service for FREE. This gives you a year to see if what we are doing works with your lifestyle and if it is worth the $9.95 a month. We know that as this letter is going out to over 160,000 emails, some of you will choose to buy the app to get a year FREE of Read the Scriptures. That is fine. However, starting January 19th, 2013, the app will be free but you will be required to have a monthly plan to access the system. I want each of you to know that we are truly trying to create this win-win. We have looked at our competitors and while they may look like they offer the same services, they do not. Just in comparison our closest competitor requires you to spend over $129.95 just to get the same services we offer and they do not offer them as uniquely as we do now, nor will in the future. Furthermore, they count on you spending that $129.95 a year just for them to stay in business. This entire process has not just been thrown out to the masses without thought.
